No website before the engagement

NLL Måleri needed a place where customers could understand its painting services, see its service areas and request a quotation. SOVRA Digital built the website from the ground up and created a structure around local demand.

A website built around customers’ decisions

The work started with what customers need to know before choosing a painter: the right service, the right location, pricing questions and a clear next step.

  1. A website from the ground up. Design and development of the company’s first website, with painting services, service areas and contact routes.
  2. A topical map and content for purchase intent. Service pages, pricing pages, location pages and guides answering customers’ questions before requesting a quotation or commissioning painting work.
  3. Technical SEO and internal linking. Website structure, indexing, loading and structured data, together with links between relevant services, locations and guides.
  4. Quotation journey and reporting. Clear contact routes and a form collecting the area to be painted, surface details and preferred timing. Progress was tracked in NLL Måleri’s own Search Console and Google Business Profile accounts.

Translation and conversion work were also included in the engagement.

Local SEO from the business profile to a quotation

  • Google Business Profile. Registration and optimisation of NLL Måleri’s business profile.
  • Location pages. Pages connecting the painting services to the towns and areas where NLL Måleri works.
  • Ongoing local presence. Business profile maintenance, a customer review process and tracking visibility and contact actions in the company’s own account.

The profile and the website’s location pages gave the local presence a shared structure. Read about local SEO and Google Business Profile work for businesses with a local service area.

3,100 organic clicks over 12 months

For the latest 12 months, the project lead reports 3,100 organic clicks and 432,012 impressions in Google Search Console. Over the same period, the overall average position improved from 70.4 to 11.

The content focused on searches with purchase intent: services, locations and pricing questions that help a customer choose a painter. Search clicks and impressions are reported as search data; tender opportunities and contracts won are reported separately as business outcomes above.
